Ways that my family helps me to calm down from a crisis

I have been blessed with a family who is very supportive. My family helps me so much with my day to day life and struggles and I couldn’t be more grateful. However, I know that there are a lot of households where that is not the case. I have no authority to tell you what to do or what not to do. However, with this blog post, I hope that I give you some ideas to share with your family as to what you can do in your life. Anyways, without further ado, here are some of the ways that my family helps me.

My sister talks to me

My sister is so powerful in my life. My older sister, whenever she senses that I am escalating or going through something rough, she starts to talk to me and I couldn’t appreciate her more than that.

I remember once, I was going through something rough and my sister starts to talk to me. She starts to ask me, how can she better help me? So, I said, “I don’t know, I feel like acting out” So, she said, “would talking help?” I said yeah sure talking would help, and so we started to talk. She started to mention to me about her struggles and then we started to talk and before you know it, I had calmed down dramatically. My sister, who wouldn’t hurt a fly, was doing her best to calm down a house fire. I just had to stop because or else bad things could’ve happened.

My dad takes me for midnight rides

Sometimes, when I’m going through rough times, my dad tells me, “hop in the car and let’s go for a ride!” I can’t believe what he just said to me! He knows I like going out for rides! Why would he offer such an awesome thing?! My dad knows that I’m going through something so he decides to help me out.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I have many ways that my family helps me out. My family is so helpful to me. I couldn’t be more grateful.
