Celebrating Year of the Peer 2023

Helen Keller said “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” Working together we experience the magic of being part of a team. The definition of collaboration is “the action of working with someone to produce or create something.”

The fact that Year of the Peer has been created is an example of collaboration. People came together to talk, discuss and create it.

Trillium’s Executive Director, Cynthia Dudley, and the Trillium Team wrote and published a book last year! Our Director was our ring leader, orchestrating the different authors on their sections, with “thought sessions” where we came together to discuss different parts of the book and how we wanted it to go. It was a beautiful example of collaboration. We are now collaborating on the second edition.
